G3 has opened three new grain elevators in Alberta.
Terminals in Wetaskiwin and Stettler County are in full operation, while the Irricana facility will begin receiving grain shortly.
The elevators’ high-efficiency infrastructure allows trucks to be unloaded in less than fives minutes, while trains up to 150 cars can load in continuous motion on the loop track in a matter of hours.
The company now has six elevators in Alberta. Terminals at Carmangay and Morinville opened earlier this year, while the facility in Vermilion is under construction and due to open this year.
An elevator at Swift Current, Sask., is also under construction and due to open in 2021.
