Starting a small business comes with legal considerations
This article sets out some of the legal considerations to start a business to sell home-grown product, such as vegetables, herbs, fruit or honey.
If you are here to enter, please fill out all of the sections of the form below to be eligible to win our $400 prize with your sweet treat.
Your entry should include the treat of your choice, a photo of the sweet sensation, the name of the bakery or restaurant (the maker of this delicious delicacy) – you need to ask them if it is OK to enter – and your information so we can share your selection and notify you when you inevitably win (because we both know yours is the best).
Keep the photo below 6 MB in size if you can, bigger and it clogs up the system. Good luck (not that you will need it).
The community where this delicious treat was created should be located in the four western provinces and in a place where no more than 35,000 people dwell (big by Prairies terms, but that is what this contest is all about).
If you are here to see what others have entered, or view your own sweet treat, we try to update them every week day and you can see them below.
There are rules and other fine print and you will find these lurking below.
