West-central

- Spring cereal harvest 65 percent complete. Canola harvest 40 percent done. Pulse harvest 90 complete, with exception of chickpeas, which are 70 percent harvested. Canaryseed and durum harvest 20 percent complete.
- Cropland moisture is 66 percent adequate.

East-central
- Chickpeas 73 percent harvested, barley 63 percent complete, spring wheat 36 percent done, mustard 34 percent and 30 percent of canola is done. Peas complete with lentils 90 percent in the bin.

- Cropland moisture generally adequate.
- Sawfly and crop lodging widespread.
Northwest
- Frost of -6 C at Scott.
- Field pea harvest nearly complete. Barley 45 percent complete, canola and spring wheat 25 done, oats 20 percent and 90 percent of lentils done.
- Canola swathing wrapping up.

- Pastures underperforming.
Northeast
- Heat and wind aided harvesting.
- Barley is 60 percent harvested, spring wheat 23, mustard 36, durum and oats 25, canola 25.
- Canola swathing near completion.
- Wind and migrating geese causing damage.
Manitoba
Southwest
- Cereals 80 to 90 percent complete, with average and better yields and lower protein.
- Canola harvest 50 percent complete, with average to above average yields.
- Flax harvest 30 percent complete. Sunflower and corn have reached a frost-safe point.
- Despite the late date, fall seeding of winter wheat and fall rye ongoing into moist soils.
- Pastures have regrowth due to August rain and some pasturing of cattle is ongoing.
Central and Red River Valley
- Spring wheat harvest 85 percent complete.
- Potato harvest is 50 percent complete. Quality is excellent, with concerns about late blight and warm storage temperatures causing problems.
- Canola 35 percent complete.
- Barley 80 percent complete, spring wheat 65, flax 10, oats 70.
- Early-seeded canola 30 to 50 bu. per acre.
- Pastures excellent.
Interlake
- Canola is 80 percent harvested in the south, 50 in the north. Cereals 50 percent complete. Poor cereal grades due in part to fusarium.
- Soybean, corn, corn silage and sunflowers still standing.
Northwest
- Spring wheat 75 to 95 percent complete with 40 to 50 bu. per acre averages.
- Oats to 90 bu., barley 75.
- Canola harvest 60 to 90 percent complete, with yields from 35 to 60 bu. Later crops still not mature and some are being ensiled. Second cut haying underway.
- Feed supplies short.
