Last November, BKT took the opportunity at the EIMA agricultural machinery show in Bologna, Italy, to showcase several new farm tires.
One tire likely to gain the most traction with tractor operators in North America is BKT’s new VF900 series V-Flecto from the company’s flagship Agrimax tire line.
“What we are presenting today is the latest sizes, and this is the 900/65R46 and it is for very high-powered tractors… it is meant particularly for best floatability and best field protection,” said Piero Torassa, BKT field engineer during an interview at the show.

This latest big-and-tall tire option offers extra comfort at low tire pressures – extra lugs touching the road surface makes for smoother travel during transport – and the VF (very high flexion) design allows for lower inflation pressures on large machines to help reduce soil compaction in the field.

New fertilizer product aims to reduce tie-up, improve soil health
A new phosphorus fertilizer, launched at Ag in Motion 2025, promises to reduce nutrient tie-up and deliver slow-release feeding throughout the growing season.
Reducing air pressure in the tire to reduce compaction, especially when soil may be wet, is a must, said Torassa.
Torassa added that some of the key benefits from the V-Flecto line – such as its polyester casing – will soon be incorporated into some of the company’s other flotation tires.
BKT first introduced its V-Flecto line of ag tires in 2016.
