Glacier FarmMedia – Solix is a solar-powered autonomous sprayer built by Solinftec, a company that started in Brazil, but also now manufactures in the United States.

The machine was on display this week at the Ag in Motion farm show near Langham, Sask.

There are two Solix machines working Canada, spraying wheat. The machine runs at about one mile per hour and selectively sprays weeds when it see them.
