Carbon tax rally a great success

I am writing this after just returning from the Regina rally against the carbon tax. The organizers of this were very modest, but I need to say that it was incredibly well thought out. The RCMP and city police were flawless in their traffic control, and the residents of Regina were very supportive and patient with all the extra traffic.

The speakers at the rally were articulate and well informed and all attendees were incredibly friendly and professional. The entire day made me proud to live and farm in this great province of Saskatchewan.

If there was anything negative about this day, I would have to say the media, both local and national stations. Extremely disappointing to see what little they covered on the rally itself. It appeared their biggest concern was the residents of Regina’s views on the traffic hold-ups and loud horns.

Don’t forget, this carbon tax affects everyone.
