Consigned by 17-year-old Larissa Lupul of Barefoot Polled Herefords at Foisy, Alta., the bull went to an Alberta syndicate. The third bull on offer fetched $6,000. Consigned by ANL Polled Herefords, Steelman, Sask., this calf born in March 2012 went to a Mexican buyer.

A heifer calf born in April sold for $10,000 to Hoffman Ranch of Thedford, Nebraska. It came from Haroldson’s Polled Herefords at Wawota, Sask.

The unofficial average on 25 lots that included embryo lots  was $5,169.
