Generator power
Gould has introduced a new way to transfer portable generator power to the home in the event of an electrical disruption.
The device allows you to run essentials like lights and furnace with the flick of a switch.
The generator power transfer switch is permanently installed beside the main electrical panel and is wired into the household circuits to be powered by the generator. When the power goes out, the generator is plugged into the unit and the switches are turned on to run the desired appliances. It works with generators up to 7,500 watts.

Registration approved
Specialty Agro Corp. has received registration for Sapphire flowable seed treatment for canola and mustard seed for use in liquid seed treating equipment.
It is a dual purpose treatment for control of seed borne blackleg and alternaria black spot in canola, pre-emergence damping-off and seed decay of canola and mustard. It also controls flea beetles during germination and early emergence.
Ten litres of Sapphire flowable treats 355 kilograms of seed.

Seeding system
Flexi-Coil has introduced several new products for corn and soybean growers.
Both the 8100 and 9000 systems have a nurse tank that automatically maintains a supply of seed at each singulator instead of filling each row unit by hand. They have the InterRow concept, which is the company’s fertilizer/seed opened single disc opener between each row unit.
In corn, the FSO is designed to place fertilizer just off the row. In soybeans, the row units and FSO are used together to precision place soybeans.
The 8100 is available in 30-foot (nine metre), single or double bar models. The 9000 is available in 40 and 60 foot widths (12 and 18 m), but transports in 12.5 feet (3.75 m).
