Pick-up bed extender
Happy Hollow Inc. has introduced the Hitch Hand, a bed extender for pick-up trucks.
The unit attaches to two-inch box hitches and allows the transport of items up to 14 feet long (4.2 metres) in a short-bed truck.
The unit is built of 1Ú4 inch, zinc coated, heavy duty steel and is adjustable in both width and height. It will support more weight than a half-ton pickup can safely carry, yet it weighs only 48 pounds (21.6 kilograms.)

Grain drying system
Dryair 2000 has introduced a new grain drying system.
It has a central boiler fired with natural gas or propane. It heats fluid that is pumped and circulated through coils at heating modules located along the bin line.
A fan draws outside air through the heating coils. The heated air is then delivered to the bin.
Unlike systems that use direct flame burners, this technology does not add moisture to the heated air, therefore can operate at a lower temperature.
Dryair says the system, depending on moisture content of the grain and outdoor conditions, can dry 2,000 to 8,000 bushels a day for five to six cents a bushel. It maintains a constant air temperature to the grain regardless of outdoor temperature and is designed to safely run 24 hours a day.
The fluid lines are high density, high temperature polyethylene with socket fusion welded fittings.

Rope and cord winder
Reel-a-Pail Inc. has introduced the QuickWinder, a new line of reels for rope, electric cords, co-axial cable and hoses.
The product has a collapsible handle to facilitate stacking and a recessed cavity for storing cord, cable or hose.
There are three sizes. The largest can store up to 200 feet of half-inch cord.
