The Saskatchewan Wetland Conservation Corporation and the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration have a new video for landowners who want to manage waterways on their property.
Riparian Areas: Caring for a Prairie Treasure has landowners who have started management plans for their waterways.
Some of the projects include corral relocation, grazing management, buffer strip seeding and remote cattle watering site development.
The video can be borrowed from the wetland conservation corporation, PFRA offices in Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Agriculture offices.

Miller Electric Manufacturing has added a new interactive CD-ROM to its series of training modules for welders.
The introduction to welding provides an overview of the basics of stick, TIG, MIG and plasma cutting processes.
Video and graphics illustrate concepts, while a glossary defines terms from arc blow to weld pool.

Vacuum up the grain
Thor Manufacturing has introduced a new grain vacuum. The 5006 Conveyair Grain Vac has a five-inch intake and six inch discharge, making it suitable for moving high-grade grain and seed.
It provides better capacity than a straight five in. model and is more economical than the larger one.
It can convert to top loading. The blower protection system filters dust-laden air, protecting the blower life.
It has quick connect Thor camlock couplers, a hydraulic loading boom and a high capacity positive displacement pump.

Loader can handle big bulk
Massey Ferguson has a new articulated wheel loader for handling bulk materials and general purpose loading.
The MF 7500 has hydrostatic four-wheel drive, foot pedal accelerator, a frame that articulates 40 degrees from centre for manoeuvrability and smooth ride, a quick coupler for attachments and auxiliary hydraulics to operate powered attachments.
It has a four-cylinder direct injection diesel engine delivering 83 horsepower at 2,800 r.p.m.
It has a 4840-pound SAE tipping load and a SAE rated operating capacity of 2,420 lb. (three-quarters of a cubic yard.)
