Fence stretcher

The new GoldenRod Hired Hand is a fence stretcher and splicer.

Invented by Manitoban Patrick Hay, the 415 model has a three-hook design. Two are stationary and one is a traveling hook.

This allows the user to pull up an unlimited amount of slack in the wire while maintaining tension with a continual clamping motion.

The third hook holds the wire securely as the travelling hook is released and moved, freeing the area where the splice is to be made. It can be used on high tensile, barbed and smooth wire.

The tool is made by Dutton Lainson, Box 729, Hastings, Nebraska, USA 68902-0729 or phone 402-462-4141 or e-mail dlsales@dutton-lainson.com.
