Belt conveyor
Brandt Agricultural Products’ new 1535TD top drive conveyor is the company’s most affordable conveyor model.
A 15-inch belt in the 10-inch tube gives the loaders a capacity of 3,500 to 5,000 bushels per hour. The top drive models have a simple and effective in-line belt tensioning system and can be equipped with either an electric or hydraulic drive motor.
They move commodities quickly, quietly and gently, and clean out completely to keep all commodities separate, the company says.
The intake weight of the conveyor is between 60 and 80 pounds regardless of the engine drive option. This allows one person to lift the intake into place.

Belt options include either a 15-inch two-ply rubber belt with a woven polyester back or PVC. Better belt tracking and longer transitions increase belt life and prevent belt flipping or folding.
It features quality powder paint and laser cut components.

New combine
Massey Ferguson’s class VI MF 9690 and class VII MF 9790 combines have improved fuel efficiency, more efficient and thorough grain threshing, greater visibility and improved cab environment.
Expanded capacity is the result of improvements to the front beater, the rotor and grain cleaning system.
Helical vanes replace claws and paddles on the front beater to guide crop material uniformly into the rotor, enhancing threshing quality and throughput and reducing power consumption.
The rotor also has new high profile rasp bars, which further improve threshing capacity and grain quality.
The new Max Flow cleaning fan provides a constant and uniform flow of air across the sieve area.
Storage capacity has increased to 300 bushels.
In the cab, the most frequently used controls are now placed on the right-hand console and hydro handle.
A wider door, greater visibility, more lighting and improved combine operation monitoring are all new features.
The MF 9690 is powered by the Cummins QSC 8.3 litre engine with 285 hp at 2,200 rpm with a power bulge to 305 hp at 2,000 rpm.
The new QSL 8.9 litre Cummins engine, with 330 hp at 2,100 rpm and up to 350 hp at 1,900 rpm, powers the MF 9790.
