Greenfield 4 Mini-Lateral irrigation systems are designed to fit small acreages and odd-shaped fields.
A Greenfield lateral machine can irrigate fields with up to 98 percent coverage at low water pressure, enhancing yield without water or power waste.
Unlike flood irrigation, a mechanical move system delivers water where it is needed.
Push-button controls manage the speed and amount of water applied per cycle.
Hose hookup is at the front and rear of the cart.
Maximum system length is 207 metres, including overhang. Total irrigated area depends on the length of the run.

Post emergence sprayer
Equipment Technologies has introduced the Apache Plus 1000 series sprayer with a 3,785 litre tank.
The medium sized, mechanical-drive post emergence sprayer has a 205 horsepower tier two Cummins engine and a heavy duty front end to include 14.9 by 38 tires and stronger spindles. High flotation tires can also be installed on all four wheels of 48 inch crop clearance models.

Soybean seed protection
With Manitoba farmers expected to increase their soybean acreage by 23 percent this year, interest is growing in inputs for the oilseed in the West.
Gustafson has an improved formulation of Vitaflo 280 for seed protection in soybeans.
Vitaflo 280 cleans up with water, significantly reduces seed dust and odour and will not settle.
The active ingredients in the new formulation are the same, providing broad spectrum control of seed- and soil-borne diseases, namely seed rots and seedling blights caused by pythium, fusarium, rhizoctonia and phomopsis.
Vitaflo 280 is the only seed protection recommended for the control of phomopsis seed rot, the No. 1 seed-borne disease in soybeans.
The new Vitaflo 280 is safe for Nitragin’s Cell-Tech Soybean liquid inoculant.
