A 6.4 litre, in-line six- cylinder engine is available now, while a 4.3 litre, in-line four-cylinder version will be available later in the year.

New herbicide
Monsanto recently released Sundance, a new group two, post emergent herbicide to control wild oats, as well as quackgrass, dandelion and cleavers in wheat and durum fields.
Sundance was registered through a co-operative effort between the Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency and its counterparts in the United States, Australia and the European Community.
It gives farmers an option to deal with perennial weeds in a post-emergent system. It can be tank mixed with 2,4-D ester, MCPA ester or Pardner to extend the weed spectrum.

New tank mix
DuPont has received registration for a new tank mix of Harmony Total and MCPA ester. The mix will provide farmers with control of problem grassy weeds and expanded broadleaf weed control in one pass.
The tank mix has two modes of action for weed resistant management. It also provides control of volunteer Smart canola in spring and durum wheat.
Field trials indicate although the tank mix, versus Harmony Total alone, does not reduce the effectiveness against wild oats, there is a slight reduction in the effectiveness of green foxtail control
