Urease inhibitor registered

Agrotain, a urease inhibitor, has received registration in Canada.

IMC-Agrico makes the product, which reduces volitization of urea-ammonium nitrate and urea nitrogen fertilizer. This makes it possible to put higher concentrations of urea in the seed row without harming the seedling.

It also protects surface applied urea, giving it more time to be incorporated by rainfall or tillage.

For more information contact a local fertilizer supplier or call IMC-Agrico at 1502-533-1997 or visit the website at www.agrotain.com.
