Greg Arason has been appointed to the board of directors of the Thunder Bay Port Authority for a three-year term, which will start Jan. 1.
Arason was chief executive officer of the Canadian Wheat Board from 1998 to 2002 and 2006-2008.
He has also been chair of the Chamber of Maritime Commerce and the Manitoba Rural Leadership Training Committee and served as a director of numerous corporate and industry associations.
