Reading Time: < 1 minute

Published: March 13, 1997

The gales of change that have rearranged the landscape of the prairie farm economy in recent years also have

hit the university and college campuses where the next generation of

Faculties at agricultural schools have been forced to ask themselves some hard questions about whether their teaching and curricula have kept up to the changing policy and market conditions into which they send their graduates.

In this special report, reporter Colleen Hawkesford asks the question and gets some

optimistic answers.
