Farm Credit Canada has committed $250,000 per year for the next four years to the FCC 4-H 4-Ever program, which it runs with the Canadian 4-H Council.
The program was started in 2006 as a way to raise awareness of 4-H and increase membership.
FCC and the 4-H council have expanded the program this year by developing a new initiative to provide club-level funding and support. Rural 4-H clubs will be able to apply for funding through the council.
