Present and former members of 4-H are invited to enter a contest to

The contest asks them to do a piece of artwork in any medium that

illustrates an aspect of life in 4-H over the past 90 years.

Deadline for submitting the art to the national council is Dec. 20. Top

prize in each category is $100. The categories include junior (ages

5-9), intermediate (10-15), senior (16-21) and alumni (22 and up).

Canada’s first 4-H club was founded in 1913 in Roland, Man.

Today, 4-H has 33,000 members in 2,500 clubs.
