East
- Cereal and oilseed harvest is nearly complete. Soybean harvest and corn silage have begun.
- Cereal yields are variable but close to average.
- Canola yields are lower than expected with yields up to 40 bushels per acre. Flax harvest is about 45 percent complete with yields 20 bu. per acre.
Central
- Harvest is nearly complete, with average to below average yields.
- Canola is yielding 18-50 bu. per acre with small seed size. Wheat is 20-55 bu. per acre, barley 60-90 bu. per acre and oats 75-130 bu. per acre.
- Cereals have good bushel weight and protein.
- Swathing of flax and potato harvest continue with good yield potential and quality.

Interlake

- Yields are well below average for canola at 20-30 bu. per acre in the south and 25-35 bu. per acre in the northwest due to smaller seeds and aster yellows.
- Flea beetles are reported in some late canola fields.

- Pastures are poor to fair.
Saskatchewan
South
- Harvest in the southwest is nearly complete while eastern areas are nearly 80 percent complete.
- Yields are average to below average especially for canola.
- Heat stress and insects are causing light bushel weight and downgrading of cereals.
- Pastures are poor.
Central
- Nearly half of cereal and oilseed crops are harvested with average to below average yields.
- Canola is yielding only 5-10 bu. per acre in areas due to heat stress.Winter wheat seeding has begun.
- Flea beetle and sawfly damage is reported.
- Pastures are good.
North
- Frost damage is reported in northwestern areas.
- Weathering damage is reported in cereals and peas.
- Showers slowed harvest.
- Swath wind damage is reported in several areas.
- Wheat is downgraded from midge and sawfly damage.
- Pastures are fair to good.
Alberta
South
- Conditions are dry in the southwest. Harvest is nearly completed.
- Harvest continues in the southeast and northwest with 40 to 90 percent of the wheat and 65-85 percent of barley completed.
- Wheat yield on irrigation ranges from 50-60 bu. per acre and barley 75-110 bu. per acre with good bushel weight.
- Dryland barley bushel weight is light.
- Winter wheat seeding continues.
- Pastures poor in dry conditions.
Central
- Most crops are now swathed. Rains have delayed harvest of all crops.
- Cereal damaged by weather.
- High levels of sclerotinia are reported in some canola fields.
- Heavy aster yellows are a concern in many canola fields.
- Pastures are good.
North
- Cool days and scattered showers were reported most days.
- Wheat is coming off (50-60 bu. per acre) and barley (60-80 bu. per acre). Most other crops are swathed.
- Wheat bleached by wet conditions.
- Cool weather is slowing weed control.
- Clubroot is reported in canola around Edmonton and Altario.
- Pastures are in good condition.
Peace River
- Cool nights and scattered showers delayed harvest operations.
- Swathing continues in all crops with very little combining.
- Pastures are in good shape.
