Eastern
- Continuing rain was reported.
- Canola experiencing premature bolting, with poor vigour observed.
- Late-sown crops have poor prospects for reaching maturity.
Interlake
- Significant crop losses due to excess moisture.
Central-Southwest
- Poorly drained fields are showing crop losses.
- Fields not waterlogged are advancing well in areas such as Treherne and Morden. Many Neepawa and Brandon crops are in excellent shape with good yield potential.
- Cereals are at the flag leaf stage while canola is experiencing premature bolting. Potatoes and corn are slow in developing.
- Fungicide spraying is under way in the west and west-central areas.

- Wheat at the late boot stage with heavy canopies and canola bolting to flowering.
- Early-seeded canola is suffering from saturated soils.
- Fertilized pastures are doing well.
- Weed spraying and fungicide applications are under way.
- Diamondback moths reported.
Northeast
- Rains that did not flood fields helped crops advance.
- Crops and pastures are good to excellent.
South
- Cereals at the flag leaf stage, peas and canola in full bloom and lentils starting to flower.
- Crops are good to excellent, with some nutrient deficiency seen.
Southwest
- Spraying is under way to control cabbage seedpod weevils and diamondback moths.
- Pastures are in good shape in southern areas.
Central
- Crops are advancing well where not flooded.
- Some hailstorms hit the area including Saskatoon.
- Pastures good, haying started.
- Crops are good to excellent.
Northwest
- Crops have died where water pooled in low spots, with large amounts of rain falling from Outlook to Kindersley.
- Many crops should recover well with high, drying temperatures.
- Large areas were under water around Kindersley and Rosetown, but crops look good with some yellowing where not flooded.
ALBERTA
Peace River
- Soil moisture is good with drier conditions in northern areas.
- Crops and pastures rated good to excellent.
- Clover cutworms are reported in canola and bertha armyworms seen around Eaglesham.
Northwest
- Crops are good to excellent.
- Diamondback moths are flying.
Northeast
- Good crop development, with some hail damage reported.
- Crops in low lying areas have died or yellowed.
- Nutrient deficiencies reported.
South
- Crops are advancing in excellent conditions, with cereals heading out.
- Low lying fields were drowned out. Hail hit Vauxhall, Medicine Hat and Bow Island.
- Cabbage seedpod weevils are reported in many fields near Taber and Lethbridge. Diamondback moths also seen in high numbers.
- Fungicide applications are under way for chickpeas.
