Two boys killed in a farm accident near Ravenscrag

Two young boys were killed when the tractor they were traveling in rolled off a gravel road near Ravenscrag, Sask., yesterday.

RCMP say the 16-year-old and a 10-year-old boys, both from the Ravenscrag area, were traveling on a gravel road in a four-wheel-drive tractor towing a baler. They were traveling east down a hill when the tractor left the road and entered a steep ditch on the south side of the road.

The 10-year-old was ejected, and the tractor continued on and then entered a ravine where the 16-year-old was ejected.

Both boys were found dead at the scene.

The names of the deceased have not been released.

The RCMP says their investigation is ongoing.
