The federal government has reappointed Ken Motiuk, Bruce Johnson and Glen Findlay to the Canadian Wheat Board’s board of directors.

CWB minister Gerry Ritz said in an Oct. 13 news release that all three are “very well placed to continue serving western Canadian farmers” as wheat board directors.

Former CWB minister Chuck Strahl first appointed Motiuk, Johnson and Findlay to the 15-member CWB board in 2006.

Motiuk is an Alberta farmer, Johnson a former grain company executive and Findlay a former Manitoba agriculture minister.

Ten of the directors are elected by farmers, while the remaining five are appointed by the federal government.
