4-H Canada is seeking new leadership after Mike Nowosad retired as chief executive officer in November.
He worked closely with the national 4-H Council and Foundation during his 22 years with the youth group.
During his tenure, 4-H commissioned the Measures of Success report that gauged the impact and value of 4-H across Canada, implemented a national 4-H resource development and sharing network and applied risk management processes and initiatives to ensure that the needs of clients and members were met.
More recently, Nowosad was involved in helping define what the organization will stand for in the coming century.
4-H will mark its 100th year in Canada in 2013, and events include a gala in Winnipeg in May and a youth ag summit in August.
The council expects to name a new CEO early in the new year.
