South

- Canola swathing nearly complete. Some early crops are being harvested with about 90 percent of average yields.
- Field peas have yielded about 25 bushels per acre, 70 percent of average.
- Winter wheat seeding 75 percent done.
- Second cut hay is complete in many cases. Recent warm weather has created secondary growth in pasture.
- Conditions are 50 percent poor in pasture and tame hay.

Central

- Recent heat is improving crop staging in the fields where later season moisture created multiple crops in the same fields.
Northwest
- Pea harvest complete, lentils near completion. Cereal harvest 20 percent complete.
- Fall cereals yielded about 60 percent of average, with winter wheat at 26 bu. per acre.
- Most spring crops’ yield expectations have improved and continued heat is improving prospects. Quality of grain is high but yields are low.
- Corn silage to start. Some silaging of late canola.
- Greenfeed baling mostly complete.
- Subsoil moisture poor.
- Pastures under pressure, with some cattle being pulled from grass and put onto harvested cereal fields. Hay in short supply.
Northeast
- Spring cereal harvest underway. Crop yields disappointing, poorer in the west.
- Canola swathing underway.
- Pea harvest completed with 30 bu. yields, 30 percent less than average.
- Second cuts of hay in the eastern area near completion. Pasture and hay conditions poorer in west than east.
Peace and B.C.
- Heat and warm nights improving maturity. Showers in the eastern and northern regions slowing harvest. Canola swathing more than half complete.
- Barley 75 percent combined.
Saskatchewan
Southwest
- Heavy showers near Fox Valley have stalled harvest. Up to 30 mm reported.
- Fall seeded crops harvested, with 75 percent of average yields.
- Peas yielding 80 percent of average.
- Lentils and chickpeas yielding between 60 and 90 percent of average.
- Canola harvest underway in drier areas, with average yields in the 30 to 45 bu. range.
Southeast
- Rain showers near Lumsden, Southey and Milestone slowing harvest progress.

West-Central
- Rain early in the week from Rosetown to Davidson slowed harvest. Up to 20 mm. Saskatoon area received 30 mm.
- Fall cereals harvested with poor yields.
- Canola swathing half complete. Stalled for green seed content.
East-Central
- Peas nearing completion with average yields. Winter cereal harvest nearing completion. Lentil harvest complete.
- Canola variable, with some swathing.
Northwest
- Fall cereal harvest completed. Seeding of winter crops nearly complete.
- Peas harvest nearly complete, with slightly below average yields in good condition.
- Canola swathing underway, or waiting for green seeds to mature. Glyphosate applications to canola and cereals underway.
- Barley silage complete.
- Lentil harvest nearly complete with yields from 1,200 to 1,600 pounds.
Northeast
- Winter cereal harvest nearly complete.
- Canola remains green with some glyphosate applications ongoing.

Southwest
- Rain between 25 and 100 mm delayed harvesting.
- Cereals 35 to 60 percent complete, with average and better yields.

Central and Red River Valley
- Spring cereal harvest half done, average to better yields.
- Canola combining has just started.
- Rain varied from 10 to 175 mm near the U.S. border. Hail in the south.
- Winter wheat seeding underway, but limited in acres due to wet conditions.
- Potato harvest started, with above average yields.
- Winter wheat yields in the 60 to 90 bu. per acre range.

Interlake
- Heat improved crop maturity. Showers, up to 150 mm at Gypsumville, have delayed harvest progress.
- Canola swathing 70 percent complete. Green seed counts a concern.
- Poor drying conditions due to heavy dew and high humidity.
Northwest
- Up to 100 mm of rain at St. Rose. Eastern areas still too wet for combining. Wet canola swathes in that area are a concern.
- Pulse crops being harvested along with barley.
- Shortage of hay, some silaging of canola.
