Residents of the south Saskatoon neighbourhood near the P&H mill had a rude wake up call when the building came crashing down early Sunday morning.
With crowds watching outside the 200-meter perimeter, 50 to 60 pounds of explosives reduced the 105-year-old mill to rubble at approximately 6 a.m.
In the pictures and video below a water curtain is visible, where water is sprayed around the demolition zone to reduce the dust from the collapsing building.
