My conclusion of the NDP government is that they are out of control or not being realistic.

Last year wasn’t enough hurt for us all in regard to the provincial government’s boo-boos. The Sask Power sham costing the taxpayers big bucks, the closure of the Plains Health Centre, our roads are a mess and more hospitals and schools being closed all over the place.

East Central’s (health care district) projected deficit for this year is $3.8 million even after closing 30 long-term care beds in Yorkton by 2000, closing 15 transitional care beds in Yorkton by the end of 1998 and closing one operating room theatre in Yorkton. …

Perhaps Mr. Romanow is afraid of calling an election this year. I don’t think too many people will forget this mess, even next year. He certainly is shredding Tommy Douglas’ medicare dream for mankind.
