It is 50 years since we in Canada had a prime minister from Western Canada. We as voters in Western Canada always criticize that all prime ministers were from Ontario and Quebec and didn’t understand our needs that we had in Western Canada. They had limited knowledge or didn’t give a damn about western Canadian problems.
Those prime ministers’ concerns were always to get enough MPs to form a majority government and not worry about western Canadian seats.
We finally got a prime minister from western Canada and were happy that finally he might understand our needs.
It didn’t turn out. Stephen Harper has the same attitude with the same rules and regulations that eastern Canadian prime ministers had.
I hope this election will be different. Stephen Harper should take singing and piano lessons, so that he could be our next Canada’s rock star.
