Federal ag minister Should be from Sask.
Because I live in Winnipeg and don’t follow ag matters much, I am unaware if anyone has suggested that the federal ag minister should be from Saskatchewan.
After all, there should be a minister from Saskatchewan in cabinet, and what better portfolio than ag?
One does not need to be an MP to become a minister, and because there is also an opening for a senator to be appointed from Saskatchewan, why not make that minister a senator as well? I would suggest looking for someone in the agriculture faculty at the University of Saskatchewan for this role.
Surely, it is insulting that no one from Saskatchewan is in cabinet.
