DISMAYING NEWS
To the Editor:
I read with dismay the news that Pioneer Grain was buying the North East Terminal at Wadena. Lordy, lordy, us farmers are a stupid lot.
We had the best grain collection system in the world, bar none. We allowed a bunch of suits to smash it all down and wreck it. Then we had to band together and put up new farmer terminals.
Now you are selling the new farmer terminals to one of the very same people who wrecked the last ones. Good God, will we ever learn?
I can’t believe it.
