My granddaughter lives in Rennes, France, in the province of Brittany, is married to a Frenchman and teaches English to little kids, about Kindergarten to Grade 1.
They love anything Canadian and especially snow, which they don’t see much of as Rennes is in a milder climate than the country further east.
During the first little snowfall they had shortly after she started teaching, the kids stuck out their tongues to capture a few snowflakes and asked her “How many snowflakes does it take to make a snowman?”
I send her pictures of kids, animals and snow scenes I find in newspapers and magazines here in Canada, and most of them come from theWestern Producer.
You do such a good job of sprinkling the newspaper with such good photos. The kids will love the baby calf wearing a toque and all the cows obeying the rules of the road –facing traffic! They are in the mail to her today.
Again, thanks for all the good photos.
