Re: Wolf bounty not the answer to losses,WP,Nov. 4.

As a long-time rancher, but thank God, not from wolf country, I would think Sadie Parr of Golden, B.C. has a golden opportunity to teach the ranchers around High Prairie how to live harmoniously with the wolves.

I propose they lease her enough grass to run 1,000 yearlings in the spring. She can use her “range riders,” “audio boxes” and “websites” to show her neighbours how running cattle with wolves around is not a major concern.

This is because, and I quote from her article, “most deaths are caused by digestive and respiratory problems.”

As her success becomes evident, people will follow because she will have led with her wallet and not just ideology.
