Despite perfect harvesting weather, the Johanson family farm at Langruth, Man., drew a couple of hundred vintage farm machinery enthusiasts, local families and steam power aficionados away from their own farms Sept. 10 for a display of old-time threshing and plowing.

Most of the machinery is owned by Murray Johanson, a committed collector and rebuilder of vintage equipment.

People travelled from Victoria, Ontario and Minneapolis for the event, which is held every few years.
