Tractor, train collision leaves one dead

Esterhazy RCMP say one man is dead following a collision between a train and a tractor this afternoon north of Gerald, Sask. The dead man, who was driving the tractor, was from the Esterhazy area.

Police say the collision occurred just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, and also resulted in a number of rail cars being derailed. No spills have been reported.

Gerald is about 90 km southeast of Yorkton, Sask.
