Open market &CWB

The Canadian Wheat Board director elections are almost upon us and the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association are promoting their policies for agriculture, which are focused at reregulating farmers’ rights into corporate rules and regulations, which in their minds will solve all of the farmers’ financial problems.

The corporate world is able to exploit farmers because on many issues farmers are divided and this allows the corporate world to legally exploit the farmers into poverty.

Back in the 1990s, the WCWGA helped to destroy the Crow rate with their propaganda and 15 years later little value added has occurred to offset the Crow loss. Farmers are financially worse off today than 1995 after losing the Crow rate because they have to pay higher freight rates.

Now the WCWGA want to destroy the CWB by trying to elect open market farmers so that the extra money the CWB makes for farmers will then go to the corporate grain companies’ bottom lines.…

In our society people have to follow the rules and regulations of political parties or any other elected positions or get expelled if they do not believe in their policies.

Why should open market farmers who do not believe in the CWB get elected or appointed to the CWB?
