Canadian Western Agribition will have a new look in 1997.

The board has approved plans to extend the Regina show by one day and move it ahead one week.

Agribition will now run eight days, beginning this year on Nov. 23 and ending the following Nov. 30.

“Although we are increasing the show in length, the new schedule could reduce the stay of purebred beef exhibitors by as much as three days,” said president Audrey Horkoff. “As well, the new schedule shortens the overall fall fair circuit by one week.”

The changes, which are results of a task force survey, should cut costs for exhibitors.
