New Agribition bosses named

Bethune, Sask., grain farmer and Limousin breeder Gary Anderson was

re-elected president of Canadian Western Agribition last week.

Also elected to the executive for 2002 were Larry Brack, Saskatoon,

first vice-president; Herb McLane, Hussar, Alta., second

vice-president; Marilyn Charlton, Weyburn, Sask., and Shannon McArton,

Dilke, Sask., members at large.

Directors elected for two-year terms include Reed Andrew, Regina; Bryan

Hadland, Weldon, Sask.; Hartley Markusson, Emerald Park, Sask.; Don

Peterson, McCord, Sask.; Gordon Roger, Balgonie, Sask.; Grant Royan,

Regina; John Simpson, Theodore, Sask.; Charlton and McLane.

Second term

They join directors who began their two-year terms last year: Grant

Alexander, Weyburn; Bill Aulie, Rouleau, Sask.; Barry Clemens, Lumsden,

Sask.; Jack Hay, Bradwell, Sask.; Rose Olsen, Saskatoon; Stewart Stone,

Regina; Tim Wiens, Regina; Barry Young, Carievale, Sask.; Bud Boake, a

life director from Acme, Alta.; Anderson, Brack, and McArton.

Also at last week’ annual meeting, Dean Hobman of Nokomis, Sask., was

named barn boss of the year. He served in the draft horse barn.
