Another Canadian company that sells renewable energy systems is setting up shop in Sask-atchewan.
Manitoba-based Sycamore Energy Inc. announced recently that it will open a new office in Moose Jaw, Sask.
Sycamore’s decision to set up shop in Moose Jaw comes about three months after SaskPower announced plans to expand its net metering program, which provides financial incentives to energy consumers that invest in solar or wind power systems.
“We’re very excited about our expansion into Moose Jaw as it gives us the perfect location from which to help the people of southern Saskatchewan move to solar power,” said Justin Phillips, chief executive officer and co-founder of Sycamore Energy.
