Canada’s new agriculture minister is a familiar face as Prince Edward Island MP Lawrence MacAulay returns to the portfolio.

Prime minister Justin Trudeau, in a sweeping July 26 cabinet shuffle, moved Marie-Claude Bibeau to the national revenue portfolio.

MacAulay was Trudeau’s first agriculture minister in 2015 until moving to veterans affairs in 2019.
