Nearly three months after Charlie Watson’s death at Canadian Western Agribition, police are repeating their request for anyone with information to come forward.

The Regina Police Service issued a statement last week asking for help with the investigation.

Watson, 52, of Forest Hill, Ont., was a well-known Charolais breeder whose body was found in a roadway between two buildings at Ipsco Place around 11:45 p.m. Nov. 19, 2006.

Police said the cause of death was internal trauma consistent with being crushed by a heavy object.

They have asked anyone who might have seen anything, been operating heavy equipment or driving in the area that night to come forward. To date, neither a vehicle nor driver has been identified.

The incident happened the night before the official opening of Agribition, casting a pall early in the week-long event.

Regina police say anyone with information should contact them at 777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 545-8477.
