AGT Soileos, a partnership between Lucent Bio and AGT Foods, held a grand opening Oct. 11 for its inaugural sustainable fertilizer production facility at Rosetown, Sask.
The plant manufactures Soileos, which are micronutrient fertilizers made from agricultural co-products such as peas, lentils and oat hulls.
The newly refurbished manufacturing facility was once a grain processing plant owned by AGT Foods.
