Celebrate success?

In your editorial of Dec. 16, you ask farmers to celebrate their success.

I understand your point, but farmers are reluctant to do so because as soon as they say they are making money, there are a bunch of parasites above in the food chain that, for no other reason than greed, jack up their prices to cut into that success.

Therefore farmers are worse off than before.

On top if it all, those parasites have the gall to boast of the profits they make in the last quarter or annual reports.

If their hike was justified, real profits would be in line, but no, they are 10 to 15 percent above what they were before and they claim it’s the law of demand. Bull.

I will not give my statistics to anyone. Let them guess.
