OLDS, Alta.(Staff) — Olds College has signed a collaborative agreement with Mexico which will expand previous partnership training between Olds and the University of Zacatecus, according to a report from Alberta Agriculture.

The arrangement, with Mexico’s Secretariat for Public Education, allows Olds College to provide training in environmental and rural development, promote future agricultural training models, exchange information on new technology and presumably promote better understanding of Alberta’s products.

The informational exchange will take place with some 200 agricultural high schools and 20 technical institutions in Mexico.
