Holstein
The average at the Agribition Holstein sale was $2909 on 47 lots. The high seller was a female consigned by Ultra Holsteins and David Chalack, Cochrane, Alta. She sold for $7000 to Lyall Brown, Brandon, Man.
Angus
The average of the Agribition Angus sale was $2703. The highest sale was $6000 to Ellanvannin Farms, Gormley, Ont., from Anderson Farms, St. Thomas, Ont.

The average on the Agribition Maine Anjou sale was $2660 on 49 lots. The high bid was $6200 for a bull consigned by Pump Handle Cattle Co., Watrous, Sask., and sold to Terrence Stepp, Torquay, Sask.
Charolais
The average of the Agribition Charolais sale was $4821 on 57 lots. The high bid was $10,700 from Edwin Hilz, Champion, Alta., for Pembina Jr. Design 16L, consigned by Pembina Valley Charolais, Westlock, Alta.
Blonde D’Aquitaine
The top selling animal was a bred female consigned by Assiniboine Blonde Cattle Co., Neepawa, Man. She sold for $5400 to Warren Somers, Pierceland, Sask.
Gelbvieh
A 60 percent interest in this Agribition grand champion Simmental bull, ABC Ambassador 106K, owned by ABC Simmental, Whitewood, Sask., sold to a consortium for $90,000 at the Agribition Simmental sale Dec. 4. The consortium consisted of the Hanley Hi-Lite Group, Hanley, Sask., Huber Simmentals and Mainline Simmental, Bismark, N.D. and Bar 5 Simmental, Brandon, Man. The 60 percent involves semen sales and the eventual sale price for the bull. ABC retained ownership control of the animal.
The winners of the grand champion barley exhibit at Agribition were Donald and Peter Nakonechny, Ruthilda, Sask.
