Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was $34.35 per cwt. Nov. 15, down from $36.69 Nov. 8.
U.S. hogs averaged $42.73 on a carcass basis Nov. 15, down from $44.85 Nov. 8.
The U.S. pork cutout was $88.13 per cwt. Nov. 15, up from $82.67 Nov. 8.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to Nov. 16 was 2.749 million, up from 2.693 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.626 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the Nov. 16 Signature Five price was C$126.10 per 100 kilograms, down from C$129.70 the previous week.

Bison
The Canadian Bison Association said Grade A bulls in the desirable weight range sold in the range of C$4.80-$5 per pound hot hanging weight, although sales were reported as high as $5.25. U.S. buyers are offering US$3.85-4.15 per lb. with returns dependent on exchange rates, quality and export costs.
Grade A heifers sold in a range of C$4.60-$4.80 hot hanging weight with some sales reaching $5.10. U.S. buyers are offering US$3.60-3.80 per lb.
Animals outside the desirable buyer specifications may be discounted.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 946 sheep and lambs and 47 goats sold Nov. 11. All lambs and goats sold just steady. Sheep sold $5 to $7 lower. Good goats sold steady.
