The Winnipeg Commodity Exchange is looking for a new president and chief executive officer.

Ben Corn, whose contract was up for renewal this summer, was let go May 16.

Peter Lloyd, chair of the WCE’s board of governors, said the board decided not to renew Corn’s contract and “it was appropriate to advise him of this decision as early as possible.”

Corn was president of the Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange in New York City for 19 years.
