A tax sale of the Canadian Agra canola crushing plant at Ste. Agathe, Man., has been postponed.

Ellis-Don Construction, which is still owed money from building the facility in 1997, threatened to get a court injunction to prevent the rural municipality from auctioning off the plant to pay for back taxes.

The construction company believes the company’s receiver has a better chance of getting a good price for the closed facility.
