Wigmore Farms of Grand Coulee, Sask., has developed a food division aimed at providing consumer-ready food containing Saskatchewan grown pulse crops.

Greg Menzies of Wigmore said he intends to take his company’s experience in bulk pulse sales to overseas buyers and channel it into marketing those crops to a domestic audience.

Wigmore will begin by selling resealable 900 gram and 10 kilogram commercial packages for home and the food service industry use via the company’s website at www.wigmorefarms.com.

Wigmore Farms operates more than 42,000 acres in Saskatchewan along with a pair of pulse processing plants and eight chemical and fertilizer distribution sites.
