Wheat tops $338 at port, durum tops $500

Wheat durum and canola prices at port jumped higher in the latest Agriculture Canada weekly price summary.

The July 3 West Coast port price for No. 1 CW red spring wheat 13.5 percent protein was $338.31 per tonne, up $14.14 a tonne from where it was the week before. The St. Lawrence price for the same grade was $328.45, up $21.50.

As of July 3 the Agriculture Canada West Coast price for No. 1 durum 13 percent protein was $473.63, up $16.61 from the week before and the St. Lawrence 12 percent protein price rose to $509.93, up $19.75.

Canola at the West Coast July 3 was $560.83, up $11.61.
