The chief executive officer of North West Terminal in Unity, Sask., has been reappointed to the board of directors at Farm Credit Canada.
Jason Skinner was reappointed to the FCC board for a three-year term commencing March 12, 2015.
Skinner has served on the board since 2009.
“I am very pleased to announce the reappointment of Mr. Skinner to the FCC board,” said federal agriculture minister Ritz in an Oct. 15 news release.
“Mr. Skinner’s participation on the board has been greatly appreciated, and I am confident that his more than 30 years of experience in the agriculture industry, focusing on marketing, policy and management, will continue to be a major asset to FCC.”

FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture lender with a portfolio valued at more than $26 billion.
The organization provides financing, insurance, software and other business services to producers, agribusinesses and agri-food operations.
The FCC board is appointed by the federal government based on the recommendation of the federal minister of agriculture. The board is composed of 12 members.
Skinner is a member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists and also serves as a director of Alliance Grain Terminal Ltd. in Vancouver and the Inland Terminal Association of Canada.
